Known, internationally, as The Poet Goldsmith, Jasmine Alexander launched her eponymous brand in 2008. Six months later she created and launched her first collection at the request of the Paul Smith family. The launch took place alongside the iconic British Designer, Sir Paul Smith, in his Mayfair Gallery, in London. Jasmine went on to launch a second collection at Couture, Vegas… Paris Fashion week… and returning home for the British and London Jewellery week, wherein she was Officially Appointed an Ambassador of British Jewellery.
Jasmine’s work immediately found itself in international press as well as in receipt of prestigious national and international award nominations (inc The Bright Young Gems Awards, Centre du Luxe et de la Création and Jewellery Designer of the Year finalist) and later that year showed her work at the Louvre, Paris… this threw her brand into the international domain with continued global and national press, then and now, referring to her as ‘The Westwood, Galliano or McQueen of the Jewellery industry’… and an ‘Icon of her field’.
She has gone on to collaborate with one of the world’s most esteemed academic houses ‘Imperial UCL’, an establishment abundant with the world’s leading minds, Jasmine collaborated with scientists, creating a one of a kind platinum dual works that combine and bring harmony between the usually warring factions of Science and the Metaphysical, bound by art… ‘Dual Flames’.
Jasmine has also created one of the world’s most iconic pieces of contemporary jewellery ‘a word to the Wise’ http://jasminealexander.com/new/gemfields/ commissioned by Gemfields for their unprecedented global campaign, heralding their full acquisition of Fabergé and appointment of Hollywood A-Lister Mila Kunis as their brand Ambassador. Jasmine’s piece for Gemfields went on to be the torch bearer of their campaign, published in the highest profile magazines across the world and still, to this day is talked about and published internationally.
Jasmine’s work is also now often found in Swarovski’s coveted annual ‘Gem Visions’ Trend publication, thus citing her a global trend setter. She recently completed a collaboration with Selfridges and The Art Room (Patron HRH Duchess of Cambridge) alongside name’s such as Sir Paul Smith and super model Cara Delevingne (as her co collaborators)… Jasmine’s work, again, received a wealth of high end global press with her work, again, becoming one of the lead pieces of the event.
She has received the ‘Must See’ mark from the World Gold Council / LoveGold brand and is now the subject of a coveted book publication by renowned publishing house Thames and Hudson on the world’s leading independent Designers.
In 2015 Jasmine became an official Advisory Board Member, for Sea Shepherd UK, serving the organisation globally… and 2017 saw her officially teaming up with Sea Shepherd UK & Sea Shepherd Global for the international ‘Sea Shepherd x Jasmine Alexander’ collaboration.
